Dr Lyndall Short

Veterinarian (BVSc BSc)

Lyndall graduated from Massey University in New Zealand in 2007. She is originally from a farm near Paskeville on the Yorke Peninsula however has made her home near Curramulka with her husband, young family and pets. Lyndall has always enjoyed the variety of work available on the Yorke Peninsula and started her own mobile veterinary service in 2011 with the aim of providing a unique service of pet and livestock care at home and on farm. This has now expanded to include in-clinic services with the opening of the vet clinic at 39 Main Street, Port Vincent. Outside of work Lyndall enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis for Curramulka and continuing renovations on their home as well as spending time in her garden.

Dr Lauren Clark

Veterinarian (BVSc BSc)

Lauren was born and raised in Darwin before moving to sunny Queensland to start her university studies. After completing a Zoology degree in Brisbane, she commenced a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in Townsville. During the 5 years of the veterinary degree, Lauren was actively involved in social and student committees, and received the Surgical Award for Excellence upon graduation. In the years since graduating, she continued her theme of travelling by working in Queensland, New South Wales, and even England before settling on the Yorke Peninsula. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery, emergencies, and forming relationships with all the lovely pets that visit the clinic. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys time with her family and chickens.

Dr Mel Holmes

Veterinarian (BSc (Vet Bioscience) DVM)

Mel is local to the Yorke Peninsula having moved here with her partner and dogs a few years ago. She completed her veterinary studies at Roseworthy. Mel has special interests in behaviour medicine and emergency medicine. We are very pleased to welcome Mel to our team and know that she will thrive in our community. Mel is keen to expand her large animal skills so you will likely see her out and about on farms in the near future. In her spare time, Mel enjoys spending time with her dogs & chickens, getting out on her bike or kayak, and exploring the beautiful YP. 

Dr Maddi Foster

Veterinarian (BSc (Vet Bioscience) DVM)

Maddi is the newest addition to our veterinary team. Maddi moved to the Yorke Peninsula and joined us in February 2021 to extend her skills into a mixed practice setting, aiming to help the wider community with their pet and livestock needs. Maddi enjoys sailing, spending time walking her dog and yoga. Welcome Maddi - it is great to have you on board!


Veterinary Nurse (Certificate iv Veterinary Nursing)

Colleen joined the Vet 2 You team toward the end of 2016 and we are thrilled to have such a highly trained and experienced veterinary nurse working with us. Colleen's enthusiasm and knowledge of the industry are infectious and she has already implemented some great changes and programs at 39 Main Street, Port Vincent. Colleen's role extends to Practice Manager and with that she takes on many responsibilites to help the clinic run more smoothly and efficiently. We thank Colleen for her continued dedication to the practice.


Veterinary Nurse (Certificate iv Veterinary Nursing)

Natalie joined the Vet 2 You team in March of 2017 after working in Adelaide in a busy small animal clinic. Natalie is passionate about her work, enjoys helping animals and people. Natalie is known as our primary puppy cuddler and will always make you feel welcome at 39 Main Street, Port Vincent! Natalie is a wealth of information with years of experience in the veterinary field. Natalie is familiar with the local area as she grew up on the Yorke Peninsula. Natalie assists in the day to day running of the clinic and is looking forward to expanding her skills in the veterinary field to include some large animal work.


Veterinary Nurse (Certificate iv Veterinary Nursing)

Julie joined the team at Vet 2 You in May 2018 and is a very highly qualified veterinary nurse. Julie has primarily been in equine veterinary teaching hospitals instructing student vets and nurses on horse medicine, anaesthesia, handling and surgery skills but now enjoys the variety and expansion of her knowledge that working in a country mixed practice brings. She has a strong customer service background and enjoys working with people as well as their pets. Julie is a very dedicated member of our team and is always happy to assist with enquiries you may have. Julie has 2 Jack Russells of her own that like to keep her on her toes!


Trainee Veterinary Nurse (Certificate iii Animal Studies)

Rhiannon is training to become a veterinary technician, a 3 year degree qualification. We have been very fortunate to have Rhiannon with us for the last 3.5 years. She is a thorough, self motivated young individual and a valued member of our team. Rhiannon is continuing to develop her skills in customer service and veterinary nursing through her employment with us as well as her current studies. 


Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Hilary joined our growing Vet 2 You team in November 2020 after moving back to the Yorke Peninsula, closer to her family. She has always had a strong interest in animals and was keen to take this further. Hilary is enrolled in the Vet Nursing program and is currently undertaking her training. Hilary is grasping all aspects of the veterinary industry quickly and can answer your queries effectively and efficiently. When not at work Hilary enjoys spending time with family, her pets, playing tennis and netball and socialising with friends.


Veterinary Nurse (Diploma of Animal Technology)

Jaimee joined our growing team in April 2021. Jaimee comes to us from a zoo setting where she has many years experience with big cats, giant pandas and painted dogs as well as other various zoo creatures. Jaimee has moved permanently to the Yorke Peninsula with her husband. Jaimee has already been able to apply many skills she has learned in a zoo setting to life in the clinic and on farm. We are very lucky to have another friendly face that complements our wonderful team. Welcome Jaimee!
